Our entire tournament team will be reporting to Bill, and he has my complete and full support," said Applebaum in a prepared statement. "This decision is a confidential Golf Canada employee matter. Original story posted on July 28, 7:55 p.m. ET:According to TSN, RBC Canadian Open tournament director Brent McLaughlin has been suspended from his position and won't be around for Saturday and Sunday at Glen Abbey.The CEO of Golf Canada, Laurence Applebaum, confirmed the report, but didn't add any details, other than McLaughlin hadn't been permanently terminated.Its a confidential employee matter, Applebaum told TSN.
